Regulations Rotterdam Football Cup U11 2018

General:

  1. The tournament will be played in accordance with the KNVB regulations.
  2. The tournament is open for:
    • Players born after 01-01-2007.
  3. Before the tournament starts all the participating teams need to hand in, before the tournament starts, a list of the full names, date of birth and the shirt number of each player, at the tournament committee.
  4. All players must play with the same shirt number during the tournament.
  5. For the best attacker, best midfielder, best defender and the best goalkeeper are prices available. The judgment will be done by an independent committee.
  6. Safety rule: coaches are only allowed to coach the team from the goals. Coaches are not allowed on the line that separates the fields.
  7. All situations that are not covered by these regulations will be resolved by the Tournament Committee.

Match set-up:

  1. The matches will be played according to the following rules:
    • 8 vs. 8 (7 field players & 1 goalkeeper)
    • The games will be led by referees of the KNVB.
    • The matches will be played without assistant referees.
    • Matches will be played with ball size 5 with a maximum weight of 370 grams and a minimum of 320 grams.
    • Goals will have a size of 5 x 2 meters.
    • It’s permitted for teams to continuously change players.
    • At the kick-off, the opponent must stay at a distance of 5 meters.
    • The offside rule is not applicable.
    • Penalty kicks must be taken at a distance of 8 meters. All players, except the penalty taker must stay at a distance of 5 meters from the ball.
    • It is allowed for goalkeepers to take a pass in his hands.
    • Behind balls may be brought into the game by the goalkeeper by throwing or shooting from the hands.
    • Corners must be taken from the location indicated on the field. The opponent must stay at a distance of 5 meters.
    • All fouls outside the penalty area are penalized with a direct free kick, in which the opponents should be at a minimum distance of 5 meters.
    • Incorrectly taken throw-ins can be done again.
  2. If a player receives a second yellow card during a game he must leave the game immediately and sit out the next game that his team is playing.
  3. Any player who receives a red card during a game must leave the game immediately and will sit out the very next game that the team is playing.
  4. The duration of the games is 1 × 15 minutes.
  5. Each team is committed to let the game start in time. If a team is not present within 3 minutes of the stated time the opponent will be called out as the winner. The final score will be 3-0.
  6. The HOME team will provide alternate uniforms if there is a colour conflict. The home team is the team listed first on the schedule. The referee shall have final say on colour conflicts.

Group stage set-up:

  1. Stage 1: The tournament starts in 8 groups of 6 teams.
    • The numbers 1 and 2 from each group will play for position 1 to 16.
    • The numbers 3 and 4 from each group will play for position 17 to 32.
    • The numbers 5 and 6 from each group will play for position 33 to 48.
  2. Stage 2: This stage starts in 12 groups of 4 teams.
    • Group A, B, C and D will play for position 1 to 16.
      • The numbers 1 from each group will play for position 1 to 4.
      • The numbers 2 from each group will play for position 5 to 8.
      • The numbers 3 from each group will play for position 9 to 12.
      • The numbers 4 from each group will play for position 13 to 16.
    • Group E, F, G and H will play for position 17 to 32.
      • The numbers 1 from each group will play for position 17 to 20.
      • The numbers 2 from each group will play for position 21 to 24.
      • The numbers 3 from each group will play for position 25 to 28.
      • The numbers 4 from each group will play for position 29 to 32.
    • Group I, J, K and L will play for position 33 to 48.
      • The numbers 1 from each group will play for position 33 to 36.
      • The numbers 2 from each group will play for position 37 to 40.
      • The numbers 3 from each group will play for position 41 to 44.
      • The numbers 4 from each group will play for position 45 to 48.
  3. If two or more teams have an equal score in the group:
    • The goal balance (+/-) will decide who the winner is. When this is equal:
    • The goals scored (+) will decide who the winner is. When this is equal:
    • The mutual result will decide who the winner is. When this is equal:
    • There will be taken penalties by three different players (on field 1). If there still is no winner after these penalties you will continue taking penalties by turn, until the decision is there.

Final stage set-up:

  1. When a game in the semi-final or final ends with draw, then there will be taken penalties by three different players, if there is still no decision after these penalties you will continue by taking penalties by turn of different players until there is a decision.
